Ideas made reality

They’re finally here.

If you’ve been following Ortega and No Off Season for a while, you know that production always takes time. Between sampling, finalizing designs, and overseas shipping, it usually takes around six weeks before an idea becomes something I can actually hold in my hands. That’s the hardest part—coming up with something exciting, then having to wait weeks to see it come alive.

After the No Off Season Pop-Up, my friend Nikki tossed out an idea: “How cool would it be to make some No Off Season hats?” The second she said it, I knew we had to do it. We set out to design something a little vintage, timeless in color, and with that subtle Palm Beach touch. After what felt like forever, the hats finally landed—and they exceeded every expectation. They feel like a perfect blend of Ortega and Palm Beach, and I can’t wait to share them with you soon.

But that’s not all. While the cycling jerseys and bibs are still in production, our first No Off Season water bottles just arrived—and they might have me even more excited. I’ve tested plenty of bottles that collapse when you squeeze them and never return to shape, making them frustrating on rides. These are different. Compact, responsive, and built with riders in mind—they bounce back instantly, fit snug in the cage, and feel better in hand than I imagined from the mock-ups. The matte velvet-like finish with glossy decals gives them a premium look and grip that makes them stand out.

Drops like this remind me why I love the process. Yes, the waiting can feel stagnant, but the moment an idea goes from a sketch to a physical product sitting on my doorstep—it’s magic. From that first spark of inspiration, to drafts and mock-ups, to the day you finally hold the finished product… it feels like making dreams real.

The hats are coming with a special release I’m working on, and the bottles will have their own moment soon. I can’t wait for you to see them, use them, and be part of this journey with me.
