Ortega - Life can't be perfect

I believe the happiest people are those who can see the good in the bad, appreciate the small details, and focus on what they can control.

As I grow, I've tried to become better at this. When something doesn't go my way, the first thing I ask myself is, "Can I do something about it?"

If the answer is yes, I work on it. But if the answer is no, I shift my mindset. When I can't change a situation, I focus on learning from it, trusting that even if I don't understand now, I will in the future.

Time moves so fast that we often forget to appreciate the small things. I find a lot of happiness in those small things: the way the sun hits my living room at a certain time of day, enjoying a meal I've been craving, having a heartfelt conversation, taking a walk with my dog, or simply running into someone I know.

Nothing lasts forever – the good, the bad, and everything in between. Finding happiness in mundane tasks is a gift to yourself, to help you stay present and enjoy your journey.

Life will never be perfect, but changing you perspective in which you experience it can make life pretty sweet.

Always see the good and always with love,

Santi
